Who we are
Hakina is provided by Bijou Labs LLC. This notice describes how we handle the data your organization puts into the service and the account data we hold about you.
What we collect
Account data: names, work email addresses, and the organization a seat belongs to. Customer records: the deals, properties, financials, and documents your organization enters. Usage and diagnostics: product events and error reports we use to keep the service working, tied to account identifiers rather than the content of your records.
How we use it
To run the service, secure it, support you, and improve the product. We do not sell your data, we do not pool it with another firm's, and we do not use your records to train anything.
Where it lives
Your data is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit, isolated per organization, and reachable internally only on a least-privilege basis. We use a small set of service providers to operate the product, listed below.
Service providers
We rely on these subprocessors, each processing only what its role requires: WorkOS (sign-in and organization management), Convex (application database and backend), Vercel (web hosting), Stripe (billing and payments), and PostHog (product analytics and error reporting). We will update this list before adding a provider that touches customer records.
Retention
Customer records are retained for as long as your organization's account is active. When an organization is deleted, its records and uploaded files are irreversibly purged after a 30-day grace window — the window exists so an accidental deletion can be reversed. Usage and diagnostic events age out of our analytics tooling on its standard retention schedule.
Your rights
You can request a full export of your organization's records, correct account data, and ask us to delete either — wherever you are located, including the access, correction, deletion, and portability rights under laws like the GDPR and CCPA. Write to hello@hakina.ai and we will act on it.
